Race 2 is a 2013 Indian Hindi-language neo-noir action crime film directed by AbbasMustan and written by Kiran Kotrial and Shiraz Ahmed. The film was produced by Ramesh S. Taurani under the Tips Industries banner, with UTV Motion Pictures serving as distributor and presenter. A sequel to the 2008 film, Race and the second installment of the Race film series, the film stars Saif Ali Khan, John Abraham, Deepika Padukone, Anil Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez, Bipasha Basu and Ameesha Patel. The music of the film is composed by Pritam, Yo Yo Honey Singh and SalimSulaiman. The film was dubbed in Tamil and Telugu. Made on a budget of 94 crore, Race 2 was released on 25 January (India) and 26 January (Worldwide). The film received mixed to positive reviews from critics and audience. It grossed 161 crore worldwide and was deemed as a "Hit".

The plot of the film revolves around Ranvir Singh, a former street racer and con artist who seeks revenge for the death of his wife Sonia. He teams up with Armaan Malik, a powerful crime boss in Turkey, who has a personal vendetta against Vikram Thapar, a casino owner who cheated Armaan out of his money. Ranvir also falls in love with Armaan's sister Aleena, who is unaware of her brother's criminal activities. However, Ranvir soon discovers that Armaan is behind Sonia's murder and that he has been double-crossed by everyone he trusted. He decides to expose Armaan's true face and take him down with the help of RD, his old friend and former partner.
The film is known for its thrilling action sequences, stylish cinematography, exotic locations and glamorous star cast. The film also features several twists and turns that keep the audience guessing till the end. Some of the highlights of the film are the car chase scenes, the helicopter stunt, the bomb blast at the casino and the climax showdown between Ranvir and Armaan.
The Telugu version of the film was released on 8 February 2013 in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The film received a positive response from the Telugu audience, who appreciated the dubbed dialogues, the songs and the performances of the actors. The film was also praised for its high production values and technical aspects. The film collected 5 crore in its first week in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
